We represent our members at Endeavour Group (BWS & Dan Murphy’s) every day of the week.
RAFFWU tried to bargain with Endeavour Group for a new enterprise agreement to cover all Endeavour Group retail employees, including BWS and Dan Murphy’s workers. It would include Store Managers too. An enterprise agreement locks in core conditions which apply to Endeavour Group workers.
However, Endeavour Group has cut a rotten deal with SDA which excludes store managers, cuts conditions and leaves many workers worse off. The deal will cover all wages paid workers in stores if voted up by workers and approved by the Fair Work Commission.
RAFFWU members at Endeavour Group endorsed claims for a new agreement and you can read our Endeavour Group member endorsed bargaining claims here. By cutting their sellout deal, they are avoiding living wages, safer workplaces and secure jobs.
Our claims were for a real living wage, mandatory security guards for all stores, genuine safe staffing levels, stronger roster protections, increased penalty rates for weeknights and Saturdays, and much more.
VOTE NO FOR A BETTER DEAL
It doesn’t end because Endeavour Group got into bed with the SDA. Cutting sellout deals is what bosses do with the SDA.
If workers vote no, we keep the current agreements and we push for a far better deal.
When workers voted No at Apple in 2022, six months later they were offered 25% base wage rate increases, 10 days more leave, secure jobs, 150% penalty rates on Saturday and more.
When we Vote No, we campaign for a better deal.
This deal cuts conditions, has an $80 cheap trick inducement, has no pay increases for BWS workers, Dan Murphy’s Level 1 get a small increase, we’ve exposed Levels 2 workers face actual wage cuts, higher duties are abolished, classifications are wrecked, rights to resolve disputes are smashed and more.
