We represent our members at Officeworks in disputes over safety, rosters, wages and much more.

Workers at Officeworks went without a new enterprise agreement for years. The old agreement was kept in place because Officeworks saved tens of millions of dollars every year by not paying minimum Award penalty rates.

RAFFWU members exposed this dodgy behaviour in 2015 and 2016 at Coles, and we knew Officeworks was benefiting from the same tricks. We represented our members in bargaining , and our campaigns meant that better, minimum Award rights were returned to workers. Rights like 25% penalty rates on weeknights and Saturdays now apply at Officeworks. 

But the current enterprise agreement at Officeworks could be so much better. We’ve tried to negotiate a better deal in 2024 but the bosses have joined with SDA to sell workers out again. We know that when workers vote down the dodgy deal we can win living wages, secure jobs and safer workplaces. Get involved in the only union on the side of workers at Officeworks – that’s RAFFWU.
