Aesop workers in Victorian retail stores are calling for Aesop to bargain fair and respectful conditions into an Enterprise Agreement. An Enterprise Agreement is a formal document which, once approved by the Fair Work Commission, sets the minimum terms and conditions for workers it covers. This is the way workers negotiate for fair wages and conditions. L’Oreal fought against workers – forcing RAFFWU into the Fair Work Commission just to negotiate. L’Oreal couldn’t avoid the vast majority of workers standing together and voting yes in the special ballot for bargaining in March.
Now RAFFWU members have unanimously endorsed worker claims for a new agreement. Download, read and share the claims here:

Why join RAFFWU?
Our campaigns are led by our members.
RAFFWU members at Aesop are leading our campaigns for workplace respect and fairness. This is the kind of grassroots, democratic organising that characterises our Union.
Since the arrival of L’Oreal, Retail consultants are being excluded from conversations that directly affect us. Contracts were foisted upon us without consultation and with threats of dismissal if we didn’t sign. Workers across Aesop are wanting wages and conditions that show respect, give their work dignity and are fair for everyone.
We are a grassroots, member-led union that involves members directly in bargaining for a better workplace agreement, including at bargaining meetings.
You can read more about RAFFWU and what we do on our FAQs page.
