The Retail and Fast Food Workers Union represents members across Australia in the retail and fast food sectors. The Union launched in November 2016 and has seen ongoing rapid growth since launch. Your union has a bold campaigning and organising agenda because we know the only way to secure fair wages, better conditions and safer workplaces is by building a union of action.

During 2020 we have been preparing and planning for the opportunity to make a range of appointments of new organising and campaigns officers who will work with members to plan, build and implement winning campaigns in 2021 and beyond. We are now excited to announce three new roles.

Our approach is very different from some other unions. We want active and interested members to consider these positions – particularly if you have been building the union in your own workplace. All of our organisers are members from the shop floor who understand what it is like to work in retail and fast food. You don’t need all the answers – we have a fantastic team of staff and leaders who support each other. The Victorian and SEQ roles will also work closely with a fellow local organiser on a daily/weekly basis.

RAFFWU is an equal opportunity employer and we particularly encourage women to apply and encourage applications from members in the first instance by 20 December 2020.
